Toddlers love learning the parts of the body – “head, shoulders, knees and toes” anyone? But learning how to spell the parts of the body can be especially exciting for preschoolers and emerging readers. Think about it, how many times does the word head or hand come up in children’s books? Learning these simple words can open up a world of possibilities when learning to read! The letters on these worksheets are extra large, which I have found especially helpful for my preschoolers as they practice their handwriting. My 4 year old loves to try to sound out the words when he is working on his handwriting, win-win! The space between the words is large enough that you can use pencils, markers, or crayons, whatever is easiest for your little learner!
These worksheets give your learner the opportunity to practice capital and lowercase letters, and there are 10 worksheets total. Kids will learn how to spell words like knee, elbow, and teeth, all while practicing writing their letters.
